Validation, behavior, and limits#

target_change_count must be between zero and the current number of changes; an invalid target returns HTTP 422.

Pass branch_revision from emfirge_get_branch to reject a stale view with HTTP 409.

Use 0 to return a branch to its base state in one call. Only the branch model changes, never AWS.
